Having fun with social media

A number of years ago we ran the social media accounts for a fantastic fresh produce company in The Netherlands. Every Friday we would photograph 'giant fresh produce' for a fun post to lighten everyone's day. Enjoy some of our images from the archives! We would love to hear how you would caption these images.

Whoever thought that playing ‘Pass The Parcel’ with a sprout was a good idea had another thing coming, fumed Arnold, as he wrapped each excruciating layer. Still, at least the forfeit was the same in every layer - they would have to eat the thing, and then who would be laughing?

“That’s the third time this week!” exclaimed ‘Health & Safety Harry’, as visions of endless (and complex) paperwork ricocheted through his weary mind. He was getting too old for this.

“Right, I think I’ve got away with that one” breathed a relieved Sven, after spending three hours manually fluffing up an underwhelming cauliflower for a site inspection later that day. He was going to need a new spade, though.

“It’s fine, just shove them back in. Nobody will notice. I’m sure they are not integral to the thing anyway”.

Frank raised his roller, feeling like a boss. They may have made a mistake in ordering white squashes for halloween, but with a lick of paint nobody would be any the wiser. Let’s hope it doesn’t rain, as Frank cannot distinguish his emulsion from his Hammerite.

“Measure the carrot in yards… Ridiculous. I’m not painting goal lines on it for goodness’ sake” grumbled Alfred as his trudged up and down for the fourth time that morning.

Gwendoline was leaving the company on a bad note. As a parting shot she dismantled the mushrooms one by one and popped one on her head as a final gesture of defiance. They’d be sorry when she was gone.
